The only explicit use of Spin Master’s cartoons is in the phone rooms which depict a gilded line art of notable characters. Background: Spin Master Entertainment is the animated television department of the Canadian toy and entertainment company, Spin Master. The library and cafe function as venues for informal collaboration and viewing parties. Writable and tackable surfaces provide ample room for artists to brainstorm and storyboard. This dramatic entrance gives way to a bright and open workspace situated along the perimeter, allowing for an abundance of natural light. Dark paneled walls at the entrance give the impression of a vintage movie theater while above, a custom light fixture in the shape of Spin Master’s logo illuminates the space. While other office floors leaned into Spin Master’s playful image, the entertainment division wanted a sophisticated work environment that reflected its artistic sensibilities.
